  • Senior right-hander Colton Owen tossed a six-hitter Monday as Tecumseh recorded an 8-0 five-inning victory over Prague.
     
    Owen struck out five and walked three in upping his record to 5-0.
     
    The Savages ended the game on the run rule with a single tally in the fifth after scoring four times in the fourth.
     
    Alan Brewer spearheaded Tecumseh’s 12-hit attack with a 3-for-3 (all singles) outing that included two runs batted in.
     
    Gage Trahan, Rylan Pierce and Jordan Colvin posted two singles apiece for the victors. Colvin drove in three runs and Pierce scored three times.
     
    “Colton threw the ball well and we played well behind him,” Tecumseh coach Chad Trahan said.
     
    The Savages didn’t commit an error.
     
    Lane Stewart of Prague had a double and a single.
     
    Tecumseh will entertain Douglass at 4 p.m. Thursday in a best 2-of-3 district tournament.
