A Mormon bishop who also teaches martial arts saved a female neighbor who was being attack by a man after he grabbed his Samurai sword and chased off the man, The Associated Press reported. Kent Hendrix, 47, said that when the attacker saw him, "His eyes got as big as saucers and he kind of gasped and jumped back. He's probably never had anyone draw a sword on him before." The neighbor Hendrix saved suffered only minor injuries.
