Seminole State College students and community members interested in the Summer Italy 2014 Global Studies excursion are encouraged to attend an introductory class on Tuesday, April 30, at 6 p..m. in Boren Library, room 100, on the Seminole State College campus.
The global studies program will travel to Italy June 12 through 21, 2014.
The deadline for the 10-day Italy trip is approaching. The excursion will direct travelers through Venice, Florence, Assisi, Pompeii and Rome. Cost for this tour varies from $3,999 to $4,495. Factors that affect cost include age, sleeping arrangements and scholarship availability.
The cost of the tour includes all transportation costs, cost of the tour, transfers, breakfast daily, dinners, tuition, admission into noted venues, guide services, tips and college fees.
SSC Art Instructor Kelly Kirk who is coordinating these global studies trips and stresses that community members are invited to participate in these trips.
“You need not be a SSC student to enjoy those trips. Openings are limited, so apply for your passport—if you don’t already have one—and reserve your place now on one of these tours full of history and culture,” he said.
