Fisher was six strokes back of the top spot.

Senior Abi Hagans of Bethel came in with a 93 on the par-71 course.

Brooklyn Motley fired a 103 for Bethel and teammate Claire Delsigne finished with a 107.

Bethel was tied for seventh in the team standings at 393 following 18 holes. Eufaula held the lead at 345 and Henryetta stood in second place at 355.

“We’ve been playing a lot better than we did today,” Bethel coach Tommy Block said.

The final 18 holes are scheduled today, weather permitting. Rain is expected along with temperatures in the 40s.

“Officials said that if there is no danger to the course or the girls, we would play,” Block said. “Last Tuesday, the weather at the regional at Verdigris was miserable,” Block said. “This could be a repeat.”
