Gerald Adams of Shawnee named to Children’s Hospital Foundation board.

Children’s Hospital Foundation announces a new Board of Advocates. Among the board members is Gerald Adams of Shawnee.

The board develops opportunities for fundraising, outreach, awareness and networking with business and community leaders from every corner of our state.

Children from every county visit Children’s Hospital every year, which the board will advocate on behalf of sick and injured children and assist their community’s children to gain access to Children’s Hospital and its physicians.

“Our vibrant and active Board of Advocates plays a critical role in advancing our efforts,” said Bill Lance, Board of Advocates Co-Chairman. “By utilizing ‘ambassadors’ all across the state, we can ensure that we fulfill our mission to improve the health of Oklahoma’s children through education, research and clinical care.

It is our goal that every child is able to receive the specialty care he or she needs here in Oklahoma.”
