  • Betty Josephine (Davis) Lewis left this earth to be with the Lord Saturday, June 15.
    Lewis was a homemaker and is survived by her husband, Tom Lewis, and children Betty Ann Radcliffe, Frank Bourlon of Macomb, Randy Bourlon, and Ron Bourlon.
    Lewis was born on December 13, 1927, and was one of eight children. Lewis was primarily a homemaker, and had six children, Betty Ann, Frank, Randy, Ron, Suzie, and Daniel.
    Lewis married her husband Tom in 1970. Together they traveled the country until Tom’s retirement. They lived in Calhan until her death.
    Lewis enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and playing various musical instruments, as well as painting. She was a devout Catholic, and enjoyed attending Mass. She also enjoyed entertaining, and was a joy to know.
    Lewis was preceded in death by her husband Frank Bourlon, her two children, Daniel and Suzie, as well as her siblings Thelma, Margaret, George, Silas Jr., Fred, Floyd, and James.
    In addition to her husband and children, Lewis is survived by grandchildren, Heidi, Steve Bourlon and wife Dawn, of Macomb, Shannon Bourlon, Michael Radcliffe, Carmen Bourlon Long and husband Andrew, and Margaret Bourlon.
    Lewis is also survived by great-grandchildren, Craig and Frankie Bourlon of Macomb, and Alexandria and Azriel Long.
    Lewis was always overjoyed to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed.
