LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — The Speed Art Museum has named a new director.
The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/11N1KLJ) reports Ghislain D'Humieres (ghis-LAHN' d'hyoom'-e'-EHRZ') will begin in the position on Sept. 3. D'Humieres is currently the director of the Fred Jones Museum of Art in Oklahoma.
He becomes the sixth director for Kentucky's largest art museum, which was founded in 1942 in Louisville.
The facility has a $4 million budget and 43 employees.
