TULSA, Okla. (AP) — One of Oklahoma's two freshmen congressmen is hosting a pair of town hall meetings in Tulsa.
Republican U.S. Rep. Jim Bridenstine of Tulsa will host the meetings Tuesday. The early meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. inside the OSU-Tulsa auditorium north of downtown. The second starts at 6:30 p.m. inside the Cityplex Towers auditorium in south Tulsa.
The focus of the town hall meetings will be to discuss recent events in Washington with First District constituents in attendance and respond to any questions.
A Navy pilot and veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, Bridenstine knocked off five-term incumbent Republican John Sullivan in a GOP primary in the race for the Tulsa-based seat.
