Alyson Michelle "Ali" Sampson, age 22, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013, at The Chapel in Griffin~Hillcrest, Ardmore.

Ali was born on June 21, 1991, to Warren Sampson and Carla Johnson at Ardmore. She graduated from Ardmore High School, Class of 2010, and was active in the Dream Catcher's Club and played on the high school softball team. She attended Southeastern State University in Durant and was pursuing her degree in Computer Science at Ardmore Higher Education while working at Michelin. Ali loved to draw and was an accomplished artist. She enjoyed being around her brother and sisters. They loved being together and named themselves "The Wolf Pack." Ali was a member of the Ardmore Indian Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her strong will.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Dave Johnson; and great-aunt Shirley Thompson.

Ali is survived by her parents; brother Jordan Sampson and four sisters, Cherissa Johnson, Lezlie Sampson, Sara Sampson and Madison Sampson, all of the home; maternal grandmother Lucretia Johnson; paternal grandparents, Papa Jr., and Shirley Sampson; aunts and uncles Kim Johnson, Hubert Johnson and wife, Jackie, Lisa Douglas and husband, J.D., Terry Thompson, Kendall Thompson and wife, Darla, and Vicki Harris and husband, Joe; special great-aunt, Vivian Murray; and a host of family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Vincent Baptiste, Brendan Greenwood, Bryce Wall, Kendall Thompson, Hubert Johnson and Wyatt Wall.

A wake service will be from 6 to 8 Wednesday evening, August 14, 2013, at Griffin~Hillcrest.
