  • BancFirst Shawnee president Marion McMillan recently announced the promotion of three employees: Dane Allensworth, Peggy S. Rider and Allison Robison.

Allensworth has been promoted to vice president and regional teller supervisor. He previously served as branch manager and assistant vice president besides several other positions in the past 12 years at BancFirst.

Allensworth enjoys spending the weekends working on his family’s farm. He resides in Seminole and is a graduate of Strother Public Schools and Seminole State College. When asked about Allensworth’s work at BancFirst, McMillan stated, “Dane adds a lot of creativity to our branch and is an asset to our operations.”

Rider started her career at BancFirst in 1973 and, after 40 years of service, was promoted to vice president. She is a lifelong resident of Shawnee and is active in the community.

She is the USJCI Senate Foundation regional representative, the Oklahoma JCI Senate director, a member of the Shawnee Home Builders Association, the Oklahoma JCI Foundation secretary and auction chair, and a member of the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce.

Regarding her tenure with BancFirst, McMillan stated, “Peggy has been a loyal member of the BancFirst family for 40 years, and she is an integral part of our service to the Shawnee community.” Rider’s daughter and son-in-law Sunita and Michael Embrey have a daughter Jillian.

Robison, promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager, joined BancFirst in 2010. She previously served as a customer service representative. “Allison has been a wonderful employee since she joined BancFirst. Her knowledge and skill will make her a valuable asset to our operations,“ says McMillan.

Robison is a native of Wewoka and currently resides in Shawnee. She is a graduate of Wewoka High School and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. She has a 7-year old son Blaine.
