  • Boomer Bridge winners on Sept. 4 were Peter Huggler of Seminole and Bonnie Palon of Midwest City. Pat Ward and Trigg Yerby, both of Ada, came in second with Glendora Van Dusen and Gayle Stacy placing third. Louise Jarvis of Norman and Bill Barkley of Tecumseh were in fourth place.
     
    Free lessons for beginners will begin Monday, Sept. 16, at 6:30 at Primrose Retirement Village. No partner is necessary. Beginning Sept. 17, lessons for intermediates will move from Monday to Tuesday nights at 6:30 at Primrose. For more information, email Justine at boomerbridge@hotmail.com or call 405-802-4360.
     
    Boomer Bridge, Shawnee’s sanctioned open duplicate bridge club, meets on Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. at First Christian Church, 1625 N. Broadway.

    Boomer Bridge is sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League to award masterpoints at every session.
