  • Shawnee defeated Noble in straight sets Monday at the Shawnee High School Performing Arts and Athletic Center, 25-11, 25-7 and 25-18.

  • Shawnee defeated Noble in straight sets Monday at the Shawnee High School Performing Arts and Athletic Center, 25-11, 25-7 and 25-18.
     
    Hannah Brooks recorded 17 consecutive serves with eight aces, and she also logged three kills and dozen assists.
     
    Summer Skillern had three aces and seven kills, and Tiffany Gardner finished with two kills, a block and 10 digs.
     
    Bailey Kasterke picked up four aces and three assists, and Dacie Hutcheson got two kills and two blocks.
     
    “The girls played great,” said SHS coach Kelsey Johnson. “I’m so proud of them thus far, and they keep growing day by day.”
     
    Shawnee goes to Carl Albert Tuesday, and will host Piedmont at 7 p.m. Thursday. The Lady Wolves will take part in the Bartlesville Tournament Friday and Saturday.
