  • Earlsboro logged a pair of wins Monday over Calvin, 8-1 and 15-10.
     
    Both games lasted just five innings.
     
    The Wildcats got 10 hits in the opener as Ethan Bateman went 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs batted in. Eric Stargell and Dalton Landers were each 2-for-3 with two runs scored, and Colton Glasgo was 2-for-3 with one run scored and one RBI.
     
    Winning pitcher Derick McCormick held Calvin to three hits.
     
    Earlsboro picked up a dozen more hits in the nightcap, with two each coming from Connor Kelsay, McCormick and Bateman. Kelsay scored three runs, and McCormick and Bateman each drove in a run.
     
    Kaiden Orso was 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored, and Colton Galsgo was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and one RBI.
     
    Austin Sanders was the winning pitcher in the second match. He and closer Orso combined to hold Calvin to six hits.
