  • Elliot Scott Henderson of Sulphur, was born to Stephen Henderson and Rheba (Weaver) Henderson on Feb. 14, 1984, in Ardmore, and passed from this life on Sept. 12, 2013, at the age of 29 years.
    Elliot spent his first five years in Elmore City. The family moved to Marietta where he attended kindergarten through fifth grade. Elliot attended Central High from sixth to 10th grade, and graduated from Strother High School in 2002. He attended college at Higher Ed/Murray State College for two years.
    In his spare time, Elliot enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and music. He loved concerts and family events. The most important things Elliot taught others about life were how to say "I love you" every day, and to accept people exactly how they are.
    Elliot is survived by his parents, Stephen Henderson of Overbrook, and Rheba Henderson of Sulphur; sisters, Whitney Henderson of Sulphur, and Rae Greathouse and husband, Cash of Amarillo, Texas; maternal grandfather, Rece Weaver of Sulphur; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Henderson of Elmore City; aunts and uncles, Reggy Henderson of Elmore City, Marca Bennett of Norman, Janna Horton of Sulphur, Glen and Debbie Weaver of Loco, Pam Gregg of Sulphur, and Randy and Beth Weaver of Loco; and many cousins, extended family and friends.
    Elliot was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Morris Henderson; maternal grandmother, Oneta Weaver; and maternal aunt, Karen Weaver.
    Memorial services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, with Joe Terrell officiating. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. You may send a condolence to the family at www.woosterfuneralhomes.com.
