Business and Industry Training program courses starting.
Seminole State College’s Business and Industry Training Program is offering several short-term Medical and Health Science Courses beginning in October.
The courses include Patient Care Technician Certification and Medical Billing and Coding Program.
The Patient Care Technician Certification is scheduled Oct.2 through Dec. 23, Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and six Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. The class will take place in room 104 in the Enoch Kelly Haney Center. The cost of the course is $1,899. Books are included with the course.
The Medical Billing and Coding course is scheduled Oct. 7 through Dec. 9, Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and three Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The class will take place in room 121 in the Enoch Kelly Haney Center. The cost of the course is $1,844. Books are included with the course.
Students are encouraged to have completed math and science in high school and have a high school diploma or GED to register for the courses.
