  • Sisters at Heart, a ministry for women, will begin its 10th year on Tuesday, Sept. 24 with a program by Christian singer and best selling author, Darlene Shortridge. She is the author of three contemporary Christian novels, all part of her Women of Prayer Series.

Shortridge. lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and son. She is a compassionate speaker, and an accomplished vocalist.
The title of her September 24 message will be "Naomi, Pleasant and Full of Grace".
Organizers Debbie Chlouber and Donna Tonubbee invite all women to be a part of the Sisters at Heart ministry. The ministry's purpose is to help women draw closer to God by hearing the stories of His grace and goodness at work in the lives of other women.

The evening begins at 6:30 with a snack supper, followed by the program at 7. The church is located in Shawnee at 302 E. Independence. A nursery is always provided.
