  • Meeker wins at Tecumseh, 2-0

  • Three errors were costly for Class 4A’s fifth-ranked Tecumseh as both of Meeker’s runs were unearned in the Lady Bulldogs’ 2-0 win Monday.

  • Three errors were costly for Class 4A’s fifth-ranked Tecumseh as both of Meeker’s runs were unearned in the Lady Bulldogs’ 2-0 win Monday.
     
    The Lady Bulldogs got three hits off of Jordan Detherage, including two singles by Cortney Edmonds. Detherage struck out two.
     
    Morgan Palmer logged Meeker’s other hit — a single — and she moved to 18-11 in the circle with the pitching win. Palmer gave up five hits, struck out three, did not allow a walk and hit one batter.
     
    Caitlin Bingham and Hilary Babbit each hit a double for Tecumseh, and Bingham added a single. Suni Meely finished with two singles as Tecumseh fell to 19-8 on the season.
     
    Class 3A’s No. 9 Meeker, now 21-13, will go to Cushing for a 6 p.m. game today. Tecumseh is at Ada at 6:30 p.m.
