  • Bethel improves to 18-8 on season

  • Bethel scored six runs in the top of the fourth inning Tuesday for an 8-1 lead, and Class 4A’s seventh-ranked Lady Wildcats went on to add three more in the top of the seventh to defeat Lindsay 11-1.

  • Bethel scored six runs in the top of the fourth inning Tuesday for an 8-1 lead, and Class 4A’s seventh-ranked Lady Wildcats went on to add three more in the top of the seventh to defeat Lindsay 11-1.
     
    Kelsey Eropkin and Mikayla Whitten combined for eight of Bethel’s 13 hits, and the two also combined for five runs batted in. Whitten clubbed a double.
     
    Rylee Steward and Kim Herron added two singles apiece as Bethel improved to 18-8 on the season.
     
    Zoe Rayner was the winning pitcher. She gave up one run on three hits while fanning four batters and allowing one walk.
     
    Bethel will go the Chickasha Tournament Thursday with a 6 p.m. game against Pauls Valley and an 8 p.m. game against Noble.
