  • Lady Wolves take road game at U.S. Grant

  • Shawnee picked up a straight-sets win on the road Tuesday, defeating host U.S. Grant High School 25-13, 25-15 and 25-20.

  • Shawnee picked up a straight-sets win on the road Tuesday, defeating host U.S. Grant High School 25-13, 25-15 and 25-20.
     
    Alex Berry led the team in kills with eight, and Summer Skillern finished with seven. Berry also posted one block and three digs, while Skillern added six digs.
     
    Hannah Brooks got two kills and a team-high 14 assists, and Tiffany Gardner finished the night with two kills, five digs and a team-high six aces.
     
    Karoline Weins added four aces, a block, five assists and six digs, and Taylor Evans picked up three kills. Bailey Kasterke finished with one ace, three kills and a pair of assists.
     
    Dacey Hutcheson logged two kills and a block for the Lady Wolves, and Chloe Lambeth finished with two aces and three digs.
     
    Shawnee will go to Oklahoma Bible Academy Tuesday, Oct. 1 for a 7 p.m. varsity game. The freshmen will play at 5 p.m., and the junior varsity teams will meet at 6 p.m.
