  • Prosecutors have filed formal charges relating to two recent drug investigations that resulted in Shawnee police making numerous arrests.

In what ended up being a simultaneous overnight operation earlier this month, Shawnee police raided houses at 514 N. Tucker and 1115 E. Whitaker.

The chief said the amount of methamphetamine seized would have had a street value of about $28,000, adding most of the meth was seized from the home on Tucker Street.

Jason Truelove, 32, who resides at 514 N. Tucker, is now charged in Pottawatomie County District Court with felony trafficking in illegal drugs and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.

Henry Webster, 56, who was arrested at the Whittaker Street home, is now charged with felonies of maintaining a place for keeping controlled substance, possession of controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
Two others — Katie Wright, 38, and Emily Armstrong, 33 — also were jailed as a result of the raids.

Wright, who resides at the Whitaker residence, was charged with felonies of maintaining a place for keeping controlled substance, possession of controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.

Armstrong is now charged with felony conspiracy to distribute controlled dangerous substance, possession of controlled dangerous substance and a misdemeanor of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

In an unrelated drug investigation, a Shawnee man arrested after police raided his southside home at 826 S. Bell for a second time this year also has been formally charged.

Ricardo Alluan Campbell, 58, has been charged with maintaining a place for keeping/selling of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, both felonies, along with a misdemeanor of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said officers first raided the Bell Street home in January and did so again earlier this month after receiving new reports of methamphetamine activity there.
Danneherae Thomas, 24, also was arrested at the home and has been charged with possession of controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show.

Next court dates haven’t yet been scheduled.
    Watch for updates.
