Driver of vehicle is 13-year-old.

Police say a 10-year-old girl is dead and three children are injured after a 13-year-old boy crashed a sport-utility vehicle in southeastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety says the crash occurred Sunday about 3:25 p.m. near the town of Colbert.

Officials say a 13-year-old boy was driving a 2001 Nissan SUV with three young passengers. A release by the safety agency says the vehicle was traveling at an unsafe speed when it left the road and rolled.

It says none of the passengers had a safety belt on. The 10-year-old girl was ejected from the vehicle and the SUV came to rest on top of her. The girl was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, another 13-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl were transported to area hospitals.
