  • 12:45 p.m. — Officials have given the all clear for employees and the public to re-enter the Pottawatomie County courthouse.
Officials evacuated the Pottwatomie County courthouse in Shawnee Wednesday morning because of a bomb threat.
Sheriff Mike Booth and his deputies swept the building from the roof to the basement and found nothing suspicious.
As a precaution, though, Booth asked for Oklahom Highway Patrol bomb dogs to search the building. Three dogs began searching about noon.
During the ordeal, Shawnee police blocked off streets around the courthouse, located at 325 N. Broadway.
