Area residents interested in learning more about their iPad/iPhone/iPod will have the opportunity to take a short class through Seminole State College’s Business and Industry Training Program beginning Monday, Oct. 28.
“Getting Started with iPad/iPhone.iPod” will meet in the Haney Center, Room 117 and will be taught by Alyssa Parks.
The hands-on class will instruct students on learning their electronic devises and how to download, create and rename folders, touch tricks, parental controls and free apps.
According to Business and Training Coordinator Carol Hartman, instruction will be given on how to manage your photos, use the camera, get to know FaceTime, watch videos, visit the App Store and check out the iBooks app.
“You will learn how to create and navigate through the home screen, discover how easy it is to sync media with the computer using iTunes, and explore maps and find out how the device knows exactly where you are – even if you don’t,” said Hartman.
The class meets for six sessions on Monday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. starting Oct. 28 and continuing through Dec. 2. The cost is $114.15.
Those wanting to enroll contact Hartman at (405) 382-9246 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Participants can also enroll at the College’s Office of Admissions in the Student Services Building. For more information go to www.sscok.edu.
