Memorial services for H.B. "Bus" Ham, 89, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Calvary Christian Fellowship with the Rev. Brad Houchin officiating.

The son of the late Morgan Buster Ham and Iva Bell (Chilcoat) Ham, Bus was born on Jan. 13, 1924, in Seminole and passed away on Oct. 14, 2013, in the local hospital.

Mr. Ham served his country in the United States Army with Company G of the 60th infantry, receiving the EAME Service Ribbon with four Bronze Service Stars and one Bronze Arrowhead, and the Good Conduct Medal.

An Ardmore resident since 1970, Bus moved here from Seminole. He spent many years in sales of oilfield equipment and had also worked with the Overland Construction. Bus was an avid golfer, and he loved spending time with family and, especially, his grandchildren. He was a member of the Calvary Christian Fellowship.

Survivors include his children, Gene Ham and wife, Sharon, of Newcastle, daughter Lisa Ham of Branson, Mo., and son the Rev. Jody Ham and wife, Gayla, of Ardmore; seven grandchildren, Brandy Simpson and husband, Chad, Josh Ham and wife, Tonya, Stacy Wheeler, Jacob Ham, Corey Fore and wife, Mollie, Jeremy Ham and wife, Micah, and Jordan Ham; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bud Ham and sister Lou Jean Horton.
