Mason Meyers was a perfect 9-for-9 passing and Chandler’s Lions throttled Kellyville 69-18 Friday in a non-district bout.

Meyers struck for 193 aerial yards and two touchdowns, and he also scored a rushing TD while ringing up 47 yards on three carries.

Rodney Lewis had one touchdown catch — a 49-yarder — and he rushed for 131 yards and a pair of scores on seven totes.

Heath Gray added 73 yards on nine carries, but he made the most of them by scoring four times.

Chandler led 30-0 after the first quarter, and 50-12 at the half.

The Lions finished the contest with more than 560 total yards of offense, including 349 on the turf. Kellyville netted 118 rushing yards ad 166 passing yards for a total output of 354.

Now 4-4 overall, Chandler will travel to District 3A-2 opponent Perkins-Tryon for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff next Friday. The Lions are 1-3 in district play.
