Seminole State College’s Business and Industry Training Program is offering a three-week “Introduction to Digital Photography” course beginning Nov. 5.
The class will meet from Nov. 5 through Nov. 21 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in the Enoch Kelly Haney Center, Room 117. The cost of the course is $114.15. Austin Parks will be the instructor.
Students are required to bring their own digital camera with ability to connect to a computer in class.
According to SSC Business and Industry Training Coordinator Carol Hartman, “This course is an easy and fun way to learn how to use a digital camera. The class will teach you the capabilities that your camera has and how to use more than just the auto mode button.”
Topics covered in the course will include transferring images from memory cards; using various types of camera settings, creative eye composition and editing and refining photographs. Each week covers a different theme matter where students are able to combine what they have learned in class on a specific subject.
