    The loss drops Bethel to 0-9 on the season and 0-5 in District 3A-3, while Heritage Hall improves to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in the district.
     
    The Chargers forged a 46-0 halftime lead, and had exhausted all 52 of their points before Bethel was able to get on the board. Quarterback Caleb Smith ran in from 2 yards out to make it 52-6, and a 35-yard TD pass from Smith to Cody Curry ended the scoring.
     
    Heritage Hall’s Connor McGuinnis covered a lot of ground Friday, two touchdowns from more than 80 yards out, and another from 60 yards.
     
    Bethel finished with 68 rushing yards and 70 passing yards for an offensive total of 138. Smith was intercepted twice on the night.
     
    Bethel closes out its season with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff against visiting Newcastle next Friday.
