  • Earlsboro wins twice at Paden

  • Earlsboro’s boys scored 22 points in both the first and second quarters Friday en route to downing Paden 75-40 and completing a sweep that began with the Lady Wildcats’ 69-34 win.

  • Earlsboro’s boys scored 22 points in both the first and second quarters Friday en route to downing Paden 75-40 and completing a sweep that began with the Lady Wildcats’ 69-34 win.
     
    Derick McCormick led the Wildcats with 17 points, tying Paden’s Dylan Carter for game-high honors. Connor Kelsay added 16 for the victors, and Eric Stargell and Kaiden Orso notched 13 and 11, respectively.
     
    Together, Kelsay and McCormick hit seven shots from 3-point range.
     
    Megan Ashley had a big night for the Earlsboro girls with a game-high 29 points. Kourtney Jones added 21, and Phenishia Washburn finished with 10.
     
    Megan Watson and Sage Whitson led Paden with 12 apiece.
     
    Earlsboro goes to Stonewall Tuesday, with the girls’ game tipping off at 6:30 p.m. The boys’ game will follow.
