Earlsboro’s Wildcats suffered their first loss of the 2013-14 season Tuesday, 56-48 against Stonewall.

The Wildcats trailed 17-6 after one quarter, and 30-14 at the break. An attempt at a rally came short as Earlsboro out-scored Stonewall 16-12 in the third and 18-14 in the fourth.

Derick McCormick and Ethan Bateman led the Wildcats with 16 points apiece.

Now 3-1, Earlsboro will go to Varnum Friday.
