  • Christmas isn't complete without great music. Ardmoreites will have a chance to hear it performed by some of the best — both locally and in the country — this weekend at The Goddard Center.
Noel Productions will present a Christmas variety show at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday for the community. Tickets are $20 and everyone is invited.
"You know when you were a kid and you saw those Christmas shows with Bing Crosby and Perry Como," said event coordinator Susan Pfau-Yeager. "That's kind of what this is. It's music people might know and some things they might not know."
The program was put on two years ago at the Culvert Center and has been done before then as well, but this will be the first time the production has been at The Goddard Center. Pfau said she is excited to put on the show and bring a great production back to Ardmore.
Local talent includes Doug Pfau, Todd Yeager, Lisa Riggle, Sally Reser and a brass quintet consisting of Doug Hansen, Drew Etheredge, James Copeland, David Hagan and Blade Bigler.
Talent from New York City includes singers Patty Nieman and John Wasiniak and dancer Carolanne Marano.
"The show will be funny, meaningful, kind of a feel-good, uplifting kind of show," Pfau-Yeager said. "If you're not in the Christmas Spirit yet, this will get you there.
