CHICKASHA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities are investigating after a Grady County man was injured in a shooting on his birthday.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says the shooting was reported Sunday night at a home in Grady County. OSBI says that emergency responders discovered 29-year-old Joseph Killman suffering from a gunshot wound.

Killman, whose 29th birthday was Sunday, was taken to OU Medical Center. Oklahoma City television station KOKH reports (http://bit.ly/1d4e3eT ) that Killman is in critical condition.

Grady County authorities asked OSBI to help investigate because another person was at Killman's home at the time of the shooting. OSBI says the shooting is considered suspicious, but no arrests have been made.
