Desaray Goodgion added a team-high 8 rebounds. The victory bumps the Lady Indians' record to 13-3 for the season. Up next, Asher will host Vanoss Friday night. The girls' varsity game will tip off at 6:30pm with the boys' varsity game to follow. NOTE: Report compiled by Matt Caban. Savages fall short HARRAH — Tuesday night wasn't kind to either traveling Tecumseh squad as they both fell; the Lady Savages going down 63-33 and the Savages dropping a 64-44 decision. In the girls' game, 13 points from sophomore forward Taylor Williams wasn't enough to propel Tecumseh past their hosts. Likewise in the boys' game, victory was out of reach for Tecumseh. The Savages however, did have a balanced attack. Four players just missed double figures in scoring: Riley Norman (9 points), Spencer Dobbins 8 (points), Pat Fox (7 points), Rylan Pierce (7 points). NOTE: Report compiled by Matt Caban. Wolves triumph again SHAWNEE — On returning to their home floor, the Shawnee Wolves toppled another foe in Western Heights with a 62-54 win Tuesday. Don Murphy led the Wolves with 23 points while Trey Maston added 13 points. Marquise Tramble chipped in nine points and Luke Laster had eight points. With the game tied 42-42 entering the fourth quarter, Shawnee upped their game and outscored the visitors 20-12 in the final period. For Western Heights, it was junior guards Kiahree Kerns and Gerard Giles who shouldered the scoring load. Kerns scored a game-high 26 points and Giles scored 17 points. The win moves Shawnee's record to 4-6 for the season. Meanwhile, the Shawnee girls' score was not available as of press time. Details on that game will appear in the Thursday, January 16th issue.
