Triangle Winter Classic Sale event scheduled this weekend.
The Triangle Winter Classic Consignment Sale, Trade Show and Cowboy Church will be held Jan. 17-19 at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday, top quality horses by the nation’s leading sires will be sold at public auction with a mixed Paint and Quarter session. Roping and Barrel horses will be demonstrated on cattle from 7:30 to 9 a.m. each day. Cutting horses will be shown on cattle as they sell. The sale will conclude when the last horse is sold.
“That’s over a million dollars worth,” said Cindy Bowling with Triangle Sales Co., Inc. “We’ll probably get 80 to 85 percent sold.”
A large trade show with an array of goods and services from over 50 vendors will be open both Friday and Saturday.
Bowling said the horse sales would last until around 11 p.m. Friday and close to midnight Saturday, although in the past it has lasted longer.
“We sell faster than we used to,” she said. “Saturday will probably run a little long.”
Cowboy Church will be held in the sale area on Sunday beginning at 8:30 a.m. ministered by Steve Friskup. Music will be provided by Carol Hogner and The Cowboy Church Singers.
All events are free and open to the public. For more information contact Triangle Sales Co. at 405-275-2196 or 273-2818. More information and a complete catalog can be downloaded from www.trihorse.com.
