Computer skills course begins Feb. 4.
Seminole State College’s Business and Industry Training Program is offering a special six-class basic computer skills class starting Tuesday, Feb. 4.
The class, “Basic Computer Skills,” will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 4 through Feb. 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in Room 117 of the Enoch Kelly Haney Center on the SSC campus. The course costs $114.15. The course will be taught by Alyssa Parks.
The key features of the course will be working with Windows programs and identifying computer equipment. Basic Internet, along with the use of e-mail and learning organizational skills and file management, will be covered.
“This is a basic computer course designed to provide training for first-time computer users,” noted SSC Business and Industry Training Coordinator Carol Hartman. “This course will also be useful for participants who need basic computer information as well.”

The Admissions Office is open Mondays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
