Marcus "Cole" Holt, 21, of Lone Grove, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, in Tishomingo.
Son of Gary and Joann Holt, Cole was born May 12, 1992, in Ardmore. Services for Cole will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Craddock Funeral Home under the direction of his home church, Country Tabernacle, with Bro. Wayne Howard, Bro. Darren Howard and Bro. Darryl Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Cheek Cemetery in Lone Grove.
Cole graduated from Lone Grove High School in 2011. He loved playing football and hanging with his friends. He had a heart of gold and cherished all his family and friends. He had worked at Walmart Tire Center.
He was preceded in death by his Papa, Burney Clinton Lang Jr.
Cole is survived by his mother and father; brother Matthew; and sisters Sydney, of the home, and Shonda Okazaki of Chicago. He is survived by paternal grandparents Tom and Linda Holt, and maternal grandmother Betty Lang, all of Lone Grove; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Skylar Minyard, and her children, Payton and Zane.
Pallbearers are Aaron Day, Dustin Lawson, Nathan Landeros, Hunter Hamilton, Chase Briscoe and Travis Meek. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Hartman, Jimmy Miller and Nathan Meek.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Oklahoma Children's Shelter.
Visitation will be held 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at Craddock Funeral Home.
