ASHER — The Asher Lady Indians softball clinch a close win against the Maud Lady Tigers, 7-5, on Tuesday in the semi-finals of the Red, White and Blue Conference Tournament.

Asher’s Tristian Milburn hit two singles, and Shelby Fleming went 2-for-2 with two runs batted in.

Desaray Goodgion went 3-for-3 with a two run double for the Lady Indians.

Pitcher Sarah Wauahdooah and catcher Malerey Luman played all six innings for Asher.

The Lady Indians improve their record to 3-0.

Asher edged past Maud 21-20 in the teams’ second meeting Thursday.

Lady Indian Tarin Dubler went 4-for-5 and hit a three run triple.

Asher’s Sarah Wauahdooah hit two runs batted in and Haley Odell went 4-for-4 and added two RBI’s.

Catcher Malerey Luman hit 3-for-4 in singles.

Asher pitcher Wauahdooah and catcher Luman played in all seven innings.

The Lady Indians advance their record to 4-0 and is ranked No.3 in Class A.

Asher will play the winner of the Wanette/Butner game, Thursday at 1:20 p.m. in the Vanoss Tournament.
