Smart tool class offered.

Area residents interested in learning more about their iPad/iPhone/iPod will have the opportunity to take a short class through Seminole State College’s Business and Industry Training Program beginning Tuesday, April 1

“Getting Started with iPad/iPhone/iPod” will meet in the Haney Center, Room 117 and will be taught by Alyssa Parks.


The hands-on class will instruct students on learning their electronic devises and how to download, create and rename folders, tough tricks, parental controls and free apps.


According to Business and Training Coordinator Carol Hartman, instruction will be given on how to manage your photos, use the camera, get to know FaceTime, wtch videos, visit the App Store and check out iBooks app.


“You will learn how to create and navigate through the home screen, discover how easy it is to sync media with the computer using iTunes, and explore maps and find out how the device knows exactly where you are – even if you don’t,” said Hartman.


The class meets for six sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:45 p.m. starting April 1 and continuing through April 17. The cost is $114.15.
