  • ASHER — The Lady Indians of Asher, behind a 12-hit attack, blitzed Wanette 12-2 in 2 innings Tuesday.

  • ASHER — The Lady Indians of Asher, behind a 12-hit attack, blitzed Wanette 12-2 in 2 ½ innings Tuesday.
    Asher, 11-3, tallied six runs in both the first and second innings.
    Tristan Milburn led Asher with a double and a single. Sarah Wauahdooah, Kayla Riddle and Shelby Fleming of Asher contributed two singles apiece. Tarin Dubler added a triple for the victors.
    Wanette was limited to two hits and committed five errors.
    Asher, ranked second in Class A, will play Thursday in a tournament at Stonewall. The Lady Indians will play at 4 p.m. against the Tupelo-Sulphur winner.

    Maud 17, Maysville 1
    MAYSVILLE — The Lady Tigers of Maud received a 4-of-4 outing from Summer Horn Tuesday in blitzing Maysville 17-1.
    Horn had a double and drove in four runs as Maud went to 9-5.
    Dallas Tiger and Addie McGill posted three hits apiece with McGill serving up a triple and a double. Tiger chipped in with two doubles.
    Four other Maud performers — Kierstin Ragan, Emilee Riddle, Kayla Roberts and Kelly Sanders — delivered two hits apiece. Sanders recorded two doubles and Roberts had a 3-run triple.
    Maud will continue its season Thursday at Stonewall in the Beast of the East Tournament.,
