  • BETHEL ACRES — Bethel notched four of its eight hits in the fourth inning Monday en route to a 4-1 triumph over Chandler.
Chandler took a 1-0 lead in the top of the third inning, only to watch Bethel tally all four of its runs in the bottom of the fourth.
Senior Meghan Tade, who went 2 of 4, chalked up a 2-run single and freshman Rachel Stark had an RBI single among her two hits. Teammate Bry Flanagan, a junior, stroked a run-scoring double.
Chandler collected 10 hits. Both squads stranded 10 baserunners.
Bethel, 8-1 with its loss coming to Dale Friday, will travel to Davenport Tuesday for a 4:30 varsity/JV matchup. The Lady Wildcats will entertain Newcastle Thursday, then compete in Moore’s Big Cat Classic Friday and Saturday.
