  • Shawnee police are seeking the public’s help to locate a missing man.
Detective Jason Crouch said Robert Abel White, 40, hasn’t been seen since last week and is considered a missing person.
White, who is described as being 5 feet, eight inches tall and weighing about 163 pounds, has brown eyes.
He was last seen on Saturday, March 25. Crouch said White was supposed to be walking to Lucky Charm Pawn to cash a check, but White never arrived there and his wife hasn’t heard from him since.
“He does not have any family or friends in Shawnee,” Crouch said. “He walks everywhere as he does not have a vehicle.”
White was last seen wearing blue jeans, brown steel-toe boots, a green, long-sleeved shirt and a black and white New York Yankees hat.
He has “NY” tattooed on the inside of both arms. Crouch said his phone goes straight to voice mail.
White has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database as a missing person.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call Shawnee police, 405-273-2121.
