Prague and Tecumseh's track teams both brought home multiple medals at the Luther High School Invitational on Saturday.
LUTHER — Abbey Brunson won two long races while Ella Schultz won an individual event and was a part of two relay victories, leading Prague to a team win Saturday at the Luther High School Invitational.
In the boys events, Tecumseh’s team was second behind Seminole. while Prague finished fourth.
The Lady Red Devils edged Seminole in the girls’ team competition by three points (119.5 to 116.5). Tecumseh was third with 95.
Brunson won both the 3,200-meter run and the 1,600 meters with times of 12:59.36 and 6:04.81, respectively.
Schultz was first in the 400-meter run, crossing the finish line at 1:01.1. She also ran in the victorious 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams and placed second in the high jump.
Tecumseh won the 4x800 relay with Tesa Potter, Taci Richardson, Bianca Mason and Taylor Williams carrying the baton.
The Lady Savages finished second in the 4x200 relay, 4x400 relay and discus.
Individually for Prague’s boys, Jacob Turner won the pole vault by clearing 10 feet, 6 inches.
The Red Devils’ 4x800 relay team finished second and the 4x400 squad took third.
Tecumseh’s boys got first-place finishes from Richard Miranda in the 3,200-meter run, as well as the 4x800 relay team of Joshua Kelsey, Duane Coleman, Dwayne Wells and Miranda.
The Savages took second place in the 4x400 relay, 1,600-meter run, 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles.
Prague’s teams will be back in action Tuesday in Stroud for the 66 Conference meet. Tecumseh will be in a meet Tuesday in Purcell.
