I’ve always been a fan of fall and winter weather. I love jackets and sweaters but the older I get, the more I lean toward loving that sunshine.

I used to be able to wear shorts into November and be completely fine but now if there’s even a breeze I feel my bones ache and I just shiver.

I feel like we’re being teased here lately with a few sunshine days and that perfect degree temperature but then the bitter winter wind creeps back in to chill us to the core and I can almost hear laughter in the breeze.

I put all my winter clothes up like most women do and changed out my wardrobe. I always like doing that because then I go through my clothes and get rid of some that I either can’t wear anymore or am not interested in and I also get excited about those items I haven’t seen in a season or two.

I think I was a little early changing out my wardrobe this year though. I kept out a few lightweight sweaters and jackets to wear over my cute summer dresses but I keep finding myself reaching into my winter clothes for those lined leggings to wear instead.

Yesterday I managed to only put my little lightweight sweater on once and I think that was because of the air conditioning.

I can’t wait for the season to change completely however, spring comes with those scary storms that make me run for cover at the slightest noise of thunder in the distance.

I should probably add new pair of rain boots and an umbrella to my wardrobe for this spring season along with locate a good storm shelter near my new home.

Bring it on warmer weather, storms and all!
