Tecumseh athletes captured three golds at their home meet last Friday.
TECUMSEH – The Tecumseh track teams won three gold medals at their home meet on Friday.
The Lady Savages won two events; the team of Tesa Potter, Taci Richardson, Bianca Mason and Taylor Williams won the 3200-meter relay in a time of 10:23.09, while Mason also won the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 53.83.
That same quartet won the 800 relay, while Potter, Williams and Mason teamed up with Kanasa Spybuck to finished second in the 1600 relay.
Zandy Sigman joined Williams, Potter and Spybuck to finish fourth in the 400 relay.
Individually, Hope Coleman finished second in both the discus and the shot put. Richardson finished fourth in the 400 and 1600 runs, while Spybuck was fourth in the 800 meters.
Dakota Paxson won the boys shot put for the Savages’ only gold medal. Austin Trolinger finished second in both the 110 and 300-meter hurdles.
In the 3200-meter relay Joshua Kelsey, Duane Coleman, Logan Jones and Richard Miranda finished third. Miranda also finished fourth in the 1600 and fifth in the 3200.
The Savages also finished third in the Clydesdale relay and fourth in the 800 relay.
The meet was the last before the 4A regional meet, which will be on May 3.
