Bethel blows out Dale, Okemah

BETHEL – The Bethel Lady Wildcats made it look easy against a pair of top-five opponents on Monday, blowing out Dale 12-2 and Okemah 8-0 in a three-way on their home field.

In their first game against Dale the Lady Wildcats scored six in the first inning and two in the second and never looked back.

Bethel (27-5) got two home runs from Montana Price, a two-run shot in the first and another in the fourth.

Rachel Stark added a three-run triple in the first, one of her two hits. Riley Steward had a triple and added a two-run home run in the second.

Rachel Wade and Zoe Rainer also had two hits for Bethel.

In the second game the Lady Wildcats held Okemah to just two hits in the shutout win.

Price had two more hits and drove in a run. Steward also had two hits, including an RBI double in the fourth. Makayla Whitten went 3-for-3 while Shelby Miller had two hits.

Bethel blew the game open with five runs in the second inning.

The Lady Wildcats will host Moore on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Tecumseh wins over Meeker, Seminole

TECUMSEH – The Tecumseh Lady Savages got 37 hits in a pair of slow-pitch softball wins at home on Monday.

The Lady Savages (21-10) downed Meeker 12-2 and defeated Seminole 14-6.

In the win over Meeker Bailey Smith went 4-for-4 with seven RBIs, hitting a three-run home run in the sixth inning that ended the game by run rule.

Sierra Humphrey, Logan Hays, Kelsie Carsten and Aspen Grimes all had two hits. Humphrey had a home run, a double and three runs batted in.

Humphrey had two more hits and a pair of RBIs in the win over Seminole, but it was Hilary Babbit who did the most damage to the Lady Chieftains.

Babbit had three hits in four at-bats, hitting a home run and driving in three while scoring three times herself.

Jordan Detherage went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Tecumseh, who scored six times in the first inning.

The Lady Savages will play at Westmoore on Tuesday beginning at 4:30 p.m.
