Josh Rolette allowed one hit in the shut out effort, striking out 10 batters and allowing one walk and hitting a batter.
The Wolves (26-5 overall, 11-1 in District 5A-4) now own a half game lead over McAlester and a two game lead over Pryor. Shawnee will travel to Pryor on Friday and to McAlester on Saturday to finish out the regular season.

Shawnee put the game away in the fifth. Rolette led off with a triple, followed by walks by Taylor and Austin Cooper to load the bases.
Landon Harper and Robertson drove in runs with back-to-back base hits, and Cooper and Harper would eventually score on passed balls to make it 7-0 before the inning ended.
Rolette finished the game by striking out four of the final five batters he faced, needing 100 pitches to get his fourth win of the season.
Coweta (12-18, 8-6) got their only hit, a single by Calico in the sixth inning.
