Garrett McDaniel led the Wolves to a second place finish at the Guthrie Blluejay Bash on Thursday.

GUTHRIE – The Shawnee Wolves finished second at the Guthrie Bluejay Bash on Tuesday, finishing three strokes behind Edmond North in the 36-hole event.

Garrett McDaniel finished second individually with a 36-hole score of 143 with rounds of 70 and 73 on the day.

The first round was played at Aqua Canyon while the second was played at Cimarron National.

Daniel Langley finished with a two-round total of 150, shooting 72 and 78. Cole Humphrey shot 157, while Braden Ricks finished with a score of 158.

Morgen Pettigrew rounded out the Wolves’ scoring with a total of 161.

Ryan Epperly, competing as an individual, shot rounds of 78 and 80 to finish with a total of 158.

The Wolves had a team total of 607, while Edmond North shot a 604.

Shawnee will next compete in the 5A regionals, which they will host at Shawnee Country Club on Monday.
