  • Mother’s Day is Sunday, and I thought I’d take this time to recognize what my mom has done for me. And I’m sure your mothers have done the same for you.
I’ll tell you right now though, I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for the sacrifices my mom has made for me. Nor would I be the same woman I am today.
Whether it has come to me having a bad day at school or work to being very ill, she has taken care of me every step of the way.
If I need to vent, she’s there to listen, even when she’s exhausted from working all day. She supported me in every direction I wanted to take my journey, and still does.
Like a mother, she also lectures me over needing to go to the doctor or other life subjects such as taking care of money or making sure I pay my bills on time.
She has also helped my father keep us fed and clothed, no matter how tight the money was.
My mother has sacrificed buying anything for herself to make sure we had what we wanted. If it wasn’t something we wanted, it was something we needed.
My mother is also one of the greatest cooks in the world! Anything she makes, so delicious! She definitely makes it hard to say no to a second plate.
I do not tell her how much I appreciate her and love her as much as I should, and in all honesty every day should be Mother’s Day!
My mom is my MVP, and I don’t know where I’d be without her. I can’t even imagine it. I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels this way.
I can only hope I will be as awesome of a mother as she has been with my two younger siblings and me, and as awesome as a wife she has been to my father!
Make sure you tell your mother you love her and appreciate her this Mother’s Day, and every day afterwards.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!
