After a run of success at Centennial High School in Oklahoma City, veteran coach Scott Raper will enter his second year with Yukon this fall.

At Centennial, Raper took a team that won a single game in his first season in 2007-08 to back-to-back state titles in 2011 and 2012, winning 99 games in six seasons with the Bison.

Raper also has stops at Westmoore, where he reached the state championship game in 1991, and Alva, amassing a career record of 172-143. Raper has been named Big All-City Coach of the Year and Little All-City Coach of the Year (twice), as well as the OCA All-State Small West Coach.

Raper was a high school pole vault champion as well as an NJCAA All-American. He and his wife Lori have two kids, a daughter, Chelsey, 24, and son Christopher, 8.
