FBI, Edmond police hunt for bank robbery suspect.

James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the robbery of the ONB bank, 1358 E. 15th Street, Edmond.


At approximately 4:50 p.m. Thursday afternoon, a white male entered the ONB bank and approached the teller counter where he pulled his jacket back to display a semi-automatic pistol he had tucked in the waistband of his pants. The subject verbally demanded money and the teller complied. The subject departed the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen on foot headed westbound on E. 15th Street. No one was injured in this robbery.

Surveillance photos and witness descriptions depict the subject as follows:


Subject: White male, mid 40’s, light brown hair, pony tail, mustache, 6’, 220 lbs., medium build, wearing a black Nike jacket with Oklahoma State logo, dark jeans and carrying a semi-automatic pistol.


This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Edmond Police Department. Anyone with information is requested to contact the FBI at (405)290-7770 (24 hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
