  • Waiting

  • If I had to choose one thing I hated most, it would be waiting. Mainly on waiting for movies to release into theaters, or season premieres of my favorite shows. I have mentioned in my past columns about my love for movies and television. Well, be prepared… here comes another one.

I make sure to keep up on the news of my favorites like, “Iron Man” (“The Avengers” included), “Game of Thrones,” “The Newsroom,” “The Blacklist”… and the list goes on and on. It’s no wonder I don’t have much of a social life.
Most recently I heard “The Newsroom” would only have one more season… this was very sad news for me. This show is completely different from the majority of shows out there. Jeff Daniels does a wonderful job at playing the lead, and it’s really different seeing him play a serious character. If you recall he plays Harry along side Lloyd (Jim Carrey) in “Dumb and Dumber.”
Speaking of “Dumb and Dumber,” the sequel called “Dumb and Dumber Too” hits theaters in November. And I will be there! I’m not missing this phenomenon, and it will still be starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels 20 years later.
Season 4 of “Game of Thrones” just ended a couple months ago, so I have about another year before season 5 premieres. If any of you watch the show, you know your favorite characters tend to die. So far mine hasn’t (No spoilers).
Season 2 of “The Blacklist” starts here in a month or so. Needless to say, I’m very excited! James Spader is a wonderful actor, and just like all the past characters he’s played, he doesn’t fall short playing the character Raymond Reddington.
Obviously, I could go on and on about some of my other favorites… but I think I’ll stop here. I would like to note that I have been getting out a lot more.
As you read this, I’m sure some of you are picturing me living in a cave. I just want to let you know that’s not the case. I do get away from technology every now and then.
